For more than 40 years, the GP specialists at Lakeside Square Medical Centre have proudly delivered high-quality, comprehensive medical care to the Cardinia and Casey community.

Our story began in 1983 in the aftermath of the Ash Wednesday bushfires, when our first clinic opened in Upper Beaconsfield to support a community in recovery. We later expanded to Berwick Lodge Medical Clinic in 1997, caring for generations of local families. As our community grew, so did their needs, which led us to our new, state-of-the-art medical facility at Lakeside Square, off Cardinia Road in Pakenham.

We believe that genuinely good healthcare cannot be rushed.
That’s why our standard appointments are up to 50% longer than those offered by many bulk-billing clinics. Our doctors take the time to listen, understand, and explore your concerns without the pressure of a 5–10 minute turnaround. We are one of the few remaining GP-owned practices, meaning your care is guided by doctors – not corporate time targets.

We’re a family-friendly practice that welcomes patients of all ages.  Our Kids’ Corner is designed to help children feel comfortable and engaged while waiting, reducing anxiety and making clinic visits smoother for parents and carers. 

Many of the doctors and independent practitioners have spent decades in the local area, developing strong relationships with respected specialists and allied health services. For more complex care, they maintain ongoing ties with leading inner-city specialists and hospitals.
